Complete Online Training
Complete approximately 6 hours of online learning before your in-class date.

Attend In-Class Training
Attend one full day of hands-on skills training, testing, and instructor-led practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does online learning take?

The online portion takes approximately 6 hours to complete. You may work through the material at your own pace and do not need to finish it in one sitting. Most students complete the online training over several evenings before attending the in-class session.

Can I do the online training on my phone?

Yes. The online course can be accessed using a computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.

For the best learning experience and to complete the final written exam, we recommend using a computer or tablet with a larger screen whenever possible.

What if I don't finish before class?

The online portion must be successfully completed before attending the in-class training session.

Participants who have not completed the online training, final written exam, and online certificate of completion before their scheduled class date are not eligible to attend the in-class session.

Is blended learning WSIB approved?

Yes. Perri-Med's Blended Learning First Aid and CPR programs are approved by WSIB Ontario and comply with the requirements of CSA Z1210:24 National Standard of Canada.

Successful participants receive certification that is recognized by employers and workplaces throughout Ontario.

What do I bring to class?

Please bring the following items with you to your in-class skills session:

  • A printed or digital copy of your Online Course Completion Certificate
  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for kneeling and participating in hands-on activities
  • A pen or pencil for completing course paperwork
  • Any prescribed medications you may require during the day

  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Choking emergencies
  • Recovery position
  • Severe bleeding control
  • Tourniquet application
  • Bandaging and splinting
  • Shock management

  • Scenario-based first aid emergencies
